About Lyn
Lyn’s short stories have appeared in Prism Review, Greensboro Review, Eclectica Magazine, the American Literary Review, and The Saturday Evening Post, among other literary journals.
The Vermont Studio Center awarded her a scholarship, and while in residence, Lyn was mentored by Margot Livesey. In 2014 Lyn won the Saturday’s Child Press Short Story Contest.
In addition to being a writer, Lyn is politically active and volunteers as a reading instructor for children in the South Bronx and is an English as a Second Language tutor for adults in Yonkers.
She is a devoted grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren. Lyn is a life-long New Yorker.
